Update

So I thought I would just do a little update on what we have been up to lately. First the house, we are so close to moving in!! We are so excited. But I had to post some pictures of some of the people that have helped us out. Our parents have been so great to take the kids all of the time. We can't thank them enough. Adam's uncle Ken has done our tile and helped us with putting rock on our fireplace. He is awesome! Adam's Dad has helped Adam so many times. A few weeks ago, we had a crew helping us try to finish up the trim painting. So THANKS everyone for the help. We couldn't do it without you.

Here is my dad taping and filling in the nail holes
Meagan and Travis have been so good to help paint and tend the kids. Sorry guys about the loss of your baby ducks. We now know why 2 year olds shouldn't be left alone with baby ducks!

Me, Conner and Mckell

We have also been trying to make it to Hunters soccer games. The first game Hunter wouldn't play at all. When I finally got him to go out on the field, he touched the ball and they blew the whistle at him and yelled at him not to touch the ball. Lets just say that ruined him to stay out on the field. So the next game that we went to, he did go out for the first little while, and then he was done. So hopefully, it will get better!

Hunter and Hallee on Easter

Since we were painting over Easter weekend, we didn't get a chance to do out usual Easter things. So we had the kids paint Easter eggs after church.

Then my mom had an easter egg hunt for the kids. It was so fun to watch at how much fun they were having.

We decided that we needed to find a hill to roll our eggs, so out to the Axtell farm we went. Of course the boys had to shoot their guns.

And we had to roll our eggs

Then off to Grandma Petersons house to celebrate Easter with them. They had a fun treasure hunt for the kids. And that sums up our fun Easter day!

House Pictures

Here are a few pictures of some of the painted walls. Kristyn and Jennie have been asking to see the paint, since they don't live here. So girls, here you go.
This is Hunters room. We painted the one wall blue and the rest tan
Here is the walls in our living room area. We did the one green wall and the rest the stained look.

This is a closer look at a stained wall, and also our wood floor in the kitchen/dining room area. I have had stress about these stained walls wondering if they look retarded or not.

Sorry, this picture is a little dark. But here is the back doors and bay windows in our diningroom. I didn't post pictures of my room or Hallees room because we still have to finish them with a few things. So, I will post more of the house later!

Hallee's Birthday

So I am a little late posting this, but we celebrated Hallee's 2nd Birthday on Feb. 26. Hallee had such a fun party and as you can see, she had to put everything on that she opened. She loves to dress up with her high heels, dresses, jewelry, hats, purses and carrying a baby or two. She loves to dance and especially loves to sing. Her most favorite song is I am a child of god, and she can sing the whole thing. She loves to follow Hunter around and do and say whatever he is doing. Hallee also loves being with her dad, because she knows he can't tell his little girl No! She is such a sweet little girl and we are so grateful for her.

Hallee and baby Seely. Hallee loves to mother Seely!

Happy Birthday Hunter

We had a fun weekend celebrating Hunters Birthday. I can't believe that he is already 4 years old! Hunter is such a sweet, fun, little boy. He is always doing something funny to keep us entertained. We started off having a family party on Sunday evening. I made Hunter a Snake Cake this year and he LOVED it! He has told us that he wants to be a rattlesnake next year for Halloween. (I don't know where he has come up with that one.) So if anyone ever sees a rattle snake costume, let me know! Hunter got a lot of nice presents and had lots of family there to celebrate with him. Then on Monday I did a little friend party for him. Now that is kind of a challenge, but I think the kids had fun. I hope you had a good birthday Hunter! We Love You!!

Upadate on House

So I have been terrible at updating my blog! But I am going to try and do better. I thought I would post a picture of our house. It is really starting to go a little faster now and it is getting very exciting!! I am starting to have to make many decisions, and those of you who know me well, I am terrible at making decisions! So it is a bit challenging for me. So those of you who have gone through the process of building a new home, any advice for me??

Halloween

This year for Halloween Hallee was a cute little witch. This was the best picture that I took of her that night. She wouldn't leave her hat on at all, and she always had candy in her mouth. But she did enjoy all of the candy I let her eat.
Hunter was so excited to be a fireman this year. He started out wanting to be a pirate, then a pumpkin, then a ghost and finally he stuck with the fireman costume. He had lots of fun trick or treating.
Adam dressed up as "Trixy". All of the kids at school couldn't even focus on their homework because they couldn't believe their teacher looked so funny! I don't know what it is with Adam and wanting to dress up like women. Hunter gets so mad when he sees his dad all dressed up like a girl! He just doesn't understand what is going on. But I thought Adam looked pretty good. He had to stop at Walmart on his way to school that morning, and he got hit on my this 80 year old man!
Here we are at the Mayfield Trunk or Treat. I never thought that I would go to one of these, but it actually was kind of fun. I still took Hunter trick or treating door to door, and He loved it!
Here is Aaron and Megan at the Trunk or Treat. Don't you love Aaron's mullet?

House Ground Breaking

Our house loan suprisingly came through last week!! We thought we wouldn't be starting until next spring. We got the phone call earlier this week and had Mike digging our basement on Saturday. We are so excited to finally getting started and having our own home, but I am a little nervous about a house payment! So I think life is going to be extremely busy for us in the next 6 months!
Hunter and Hallee had so much fun watching Mike and playing in the dirt. They didn't want to leave the scene. I think that Hunter was in heaven with all of the dirt!
