HELP!!

So this past little while, I have felt like a single mother (because it is hunting season) and I have to say, I have a lot of respect for these mothers. By the end of the day I am so worn out by my children. I feel like I have zero patients with them and I have felt like such a terrible mother at the end of every day. My kids have not been minding me at all and they never listen unless I start to yell. I just figure that I need help in my parenting skills. So then this weekend, it was nice to have Adam around a little bit. My kids seemed to do better and I felt like a better mom. But then on Sunday during the morning session of conference, Hallee came out of Hunters bedroom and her hair was all wet and parts of her clothes were wet. I looked to see if the bathroom doors were closed, and they were. So I figured that Hunter had poured water all over her. So I went in his bedroom and found him hiding under his bed. I finally got out of him what he did to his sister. He told me that he had peed on her head while she was reading a book. I about died. That is so gross! So we got Hallee in the bath for the second time that morning and started cleaning up the mess. I don't know why in the world he would do that. I kept thinking to myself what am I doing wrong. I also found out that he has been peeing in his bedroom garbage a little bit. Then last night I find out that he threw like 2 cans of paint down grandpa peterson's outside stairs over the weekend. I guess he was trying to kill the spiders down those stairs. So, if anyone has any parenting tips for me I would gladly appreciate it! I just don't know what to do!

Kera Kera Kera. I would so help if I had any advice to give. I have just as many issues with my own. Not the peeing however. But the not listening and the other stuff. I know how you feel, you are not alone. I feel like a crazy person half of every day if not all of it. But for some reason my kids still love me. And to think now I am adding another to the craziness. :) Your family picture is cute. Who took them? Hang in there.

:) How funny (to all of us)! I think it may be normal for kids to not listen unless your yelling. I remember my mom slamming cubords and yelling and that's when we listened. You're a fabulous mom and Heavenly Father wouldn't have sent you your kids if you couldn't handle them. But what do I know, not much... yet.

Today Jalen has peed a couple of times where he shouldn't...once on off the back door onto the deck and the other outside on the tree. I ever had this problem with Mason, but then Jalen comes from a different breed. Anyways, now I realize that's the least of my worries! I have a feeling this is only the beginning for Hallee! I love your new family picture. It is so adorable! Miss you guys!

Oh Kera. Bless you. :) Megan is right - Heavenly Father wouldn't send you your kids if you couldn't handle them! Funny story though. We were laughing for a while over it. I was talking with a client last week who recommended an awesome course/book for parenting. I didn't have time to look at the website and now I can't remember it, but she raved about how much it helped her with her two kids. I want it for myself...I'll check it out and send the URL to you too when I find it. Luvs! k

That is too funny! You have darling kids and I'm sure he's just being a boy! Tezlin peed all over Kezzley a couple of times... He thought it was funny to be mean to her and make her cry. I think it's a rebellious phase they go thru. My advice would be to sit him down and have a serious talk with him. If he knows that it really upsets you and it's not a nice thing to do, he might think twice before he does it again. Time-outs work good for me too! Your family picture is cute!
