We Started off this summer by getting Jake and Travis home from Iraq!! It has been so nice to have some of my family around for the summer.
My family spent a weekend at our cabin just after the boys came home. Travis brought my Grandpa Jacks horses up there for us to ride. My kids loved it! I am kind of scared of horses, but I rode one anyway and I actually had a good time.
One night Jake, Natalie, Travis, Meagan, and our family went on a little jeep ride. It was a crazy ride. The boys were very excited about having to use the wintch. My poor children would get scared to death when we came to the scary parts in the road. I had to take them away from the scene and pick flowers so that they couldn't see what was going on. But we had a good time.
LAKE POWELL
We always look forward for our trip to Lake Powell. It is one of my most favorite things to do! This year we took Hunter and left Hallee home. Hunter had a great time. He loves playing in the water. He even jumped off the houseboat this year and loved it.
Mayfield always has a parade for the 24th of July. Mayfield is split up into different neighborhoods and our neighborhood is called cobble haven. So for our float this year they had horses pulling a covered wagon with people dressed up as pioneers. Our neighbor Reid and his wife Annalee were the parents and all of the kids rode in the wagon. Then Adam dressed up as the Plow Chick and as Reids other wife. He was so funny. I wish I had the whole thing on video!
As probably evryone knows, Travis and Meagan got married this summer. It was such a pretty wedding and we are so glad to have Meagan come into our family. She is such a cute girl. We are especially grateful that Travis and Meagan live close to us! I have been the only sibling in the state of utah for a year, so its nice to have them close to home. So here are few pictures from the wedding.

So glad you finally have a blog. Sorry I didn't call when we came up last time. We had our weekend scheduled out, and were so busy! We do need to get together. We are coming up on the 27th and 28th of Sept. when Brady and Laura bless their baby. Anyways your kids are super cute! I love Hallee, she is a doll!

Kera~ Your kids are so dang cute!! They are getting so big! I am so glad you got your blog up it's great to keep in touch! We are coming down tomorrow just for tomorrow for Shayla wedding. If you are going to be around let me know and maybe we could meet up somewhere. I can't believe Travis is married! His and Jake's wife are so darling. Jenny's and Krystin's kids are so cute and getting so big also! I also love Adam's mustache ha ha he is so funny! I also love that he dressed as that beautiful plow women for the parade! Anyway's your kids are so dang cute and we need to get together soon!

Kera I am so glad you are blogging now! That was such a nice post of the summer. Luke asked me "is that Hunter's family" he sure likes Hunter. What a great and busy summer!
