Hallee's Stitches

Hallee got stitches a few weeks ago. I was at work and didn't exactly see what happened, but she must have tripped and hit the corner of the door or cupboards. It was sad. I was having a hard time controlling the bleeding because she didn't want me to touch it. But I got her calmed down and we ran over to the Dr. Office. Dr. Inouye is supposed to be the best person for the job around here, so it made me feel better since the cut just had to be right down the middle of her forehead. It was horrible having to hold her down while she screamed the whole time they were stitching her up. She had about 3 stitches on the underneath layer and about 8 stitches on top. But she was fine as soon as we left the Dr. office and she did great getting them out. But now she won't leave the scab alone. I went back to see the dr. and he said that it is probably going to have a big scar. I was like Great!! Just what we want. A few days later Hallee got an infection in her eye and she couldn't even open it because it was so puffy. And then she fell down again and has a huge bruise on the side of her forehead. So my poor child looks like we abuse her. I have had many people ask what we have been doing to her! But she is on the mends and looking better!

Holy Cow! That poor girl. It just seems like something a boy should do but not a pretty girl! She looks just like you (without the bruises). What cute kids.

Poor girl! I don't know how you stayed calm with the whole blood thing-I'da been freakin' out! She sounds like she's a tuff one! If your worried about scarring-vitamin e oil is supposed to be good for that. It might be worth a try?

Oh, Kera...this sounds like something Hunter should have experienced! She is still so beautiful and I'm sure the scar will get less and less noticeable as time goes one. Their skin heals so well when they're little. By the way, her piggy tails looks adorable! Tell Hunter he looked so handsome for his first day of school:)

Luke just got stitches but it wasn't that bad! They told me over and over to keep sunscreen on the scar for a year! I am not sure if I will be able to keep that up! She looks very grown up in that picture.
