A couple of weeks ago we went for a Sunday Jeep ride with my parents and Travis & Meagan. Eariler during church, Hunter was asked to give his first primary talk. As most of you know, Hunter is supposed to be in nursery. He missed the deadline by 2 months last year to go into sunbeams. But a few weeks ago, we brought him into sunbeams because our nursery was full of little girls and almost all of them are at least 1 year younger than him. So the poor kid was like the only little boy in there. So anyway, we brought him in and he has done great. So they asked him to give a talk after only being in primary for a few weeks. I didn't know how he would do, but he got right up there and gave his talk. His talk was on prayer, so he talked about how he prayed for his uncles in Iraq and how they came home safely. I let him bring a picture of him with Jake and Travis in their army uniforms. He was so excited to show everyone at church his pictures of his uncles. He would tell everyone that they are his uncles, not theres! It was so funny. Anyway, while we were stopped to cook a hot dog, Hunter gave his talk to the family, and we were able to record some of it with our camera. So there is a little video clip of him trying to give his talk. (I couldn't seem to remember what to tell him!) There is also another video clip of Hunter shooting the gun with Travis. Adam was so proud that he wanted to make sure that I put that clip on the blog also!

Oh my gosh he is so cute. In the video of him giving his talk he is just like Adam. How funny. Yeah our ward up here made Triston give a talk just after he got in sunbeams. I freaked. He did good though. The mud pictures are hilarious. That is something my youngest would do, but Triston does whatever he can to avoid getting any kind of messy. It is so funny.
Looks like a fun, Sunday afternoon. You could have just skipped church altogether and Hunter's talk could have been your spiritual enlightenment for the day. I am so glad they let him go into Sunbeams early. ALso, love the new background and music! I'm gonna jive to your tunes while I get some work done. Luv ya!
that is so funny. What a cute little boy.
